Manchester United are unbeaten in their last 17 home games against West Ham, and will be hoping that run continues this evening. Sunday’s clash between both clubs was an entertaining affair with plenty of talking points. But, it’s likely both sides will rotate and we’ll see very different line-ups.
The Red Devils are likely to rest superstar Cristiano Ronaldo for the tie, perhaps turning to Edinson Cavani to lead the line, if the Uruguayan is fit enough to start. The Hammers striker Michail Antonio returns from suspension and could feature, giving West Ham even more of an attacking threat.

Man Utd team news:
Ole Gunnar Solskjær told club website (manutd.com) “We know it’s early on in the season and some players need minutes to get their proper fitness up so I will make a few changes.”.
Solskjær has implied that Sunday’s hero Jesse Lingard is likely to start the match against his former club, where he spent the earlier part of the year on loan. Phil Jones returns to the squad following a 20-month absence due to injury.
Solskjær said youngster Anthony Elanga was “terrific in pre-season – his attitude, his enthusiasm, his directness. I love to see players like this.” and confirmed he would be included in the matchday squad. Alex Telles is another returning to action following an ankle injury.
Cavani could return for the Red Devils, after missing recent games with a muscle strain. Cavani is yet to play in front of a fan-filled Old Trafford, and the Stretford End are sure to give him a fantastic welcome should he feature this evening.
Other players such as Juan Mata and Donny van de Beek could come into the team. Amad Diallo (thigh) and Marcus Rashford (shoulder) will likely miss the match
West Ham team news:
Issa Diop, Ryan Fredericks and Manuel Lanzini could feature for the Hammers whilst Antonio is available for selection once again after serving a one-match suspension.
Striker Antonio has started the season in tremendous form as West Ham’s focal point and won the August Premier League player of the month award. But, with the Hammers travelling back up North to face Leeds in the Premier League on Saturday, it remains to be seen if their star striker will start at Old Trafford.
